Google は電子マネーや電子クーポンなどのサービスとなる Google Wallet を発表。Citi、MasterCard、First Data などと協力し、同サービスの拡充を目指すようです。

Google Wallet は、Android 端末とNFC ( 非接触IC ) を利用しますので、基本的には日本の NTTドコモ などが展開しているおサイフケータイと同じようなものだと思っていて問題ないでしょうね。現在のところ Nexus S 4G のみのようですが、NFC 搭載のものは順次利用できる見込みだそうです。
