ASUS ( ASUSTeK Computer ) がネットブックの新製品 Eee PC 1002HAE を発表しました。5月16日 から発売開始で 49800円 だそうです。この Eee PC 1002HAE はアルミニウムボディを採用し、主にビジネスマン向けとして発売をするそうです。

型番からわかるように Eee PC 1002HA のマイナーチェンジ版ということで、主な変更点は Atom N270 から Atom N280 になり、キーボードにチクレットキーボードを採用し、Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR が追加されたことでしょうか。

また、若干軽量化されたもののバッテリーが 4.1時間 から 3.8時間 に減っちゃっているのは残念としかいいようがありませんね。

According to DigiTimes, ASUS is planning on releasing an 11.6-inch Eee by the end of the month, following up on its pledge made last year to do just that —

どうやら ASUS は 11.6インチの液晶を搭載した Eee PC を今月出荷する計画があるようです。7インチ のカーナビ用の液晶を使った ASUS の初代 Eee PC からすると、大きなインチになってきたなぁと思います。

せっかくの 11.6インチ が 1280 × 600 の解像度だったら、ちょっと残念なんだけど、このあたりはどうなんだろう。DELL Inspiron mini 10 の場合はオプションだけど 1366 × 768 も選べるわけだから、NetBook も高解像度の時代に入っていくかもしれないですね。

そうなると、すでに NetBook ではなく ノートPC になるね(^^;;;

2009/4/1〜2009/4/15にJATEを通過した機器が発表されています。
その中でASUSからはSeashellことEee PC 1008HAとCULVプラットフォーム採用のU20Aが通過しました。あとU8「」もありますが詳細は不明です。

ASUS Eee PC 1008HA は JATE を通過しているということなので、次期はともかくとしても日本でも発売される可能性が大きくなってきましたね。

ASUS ( ASUSTek Computer ) は Go Anywhere in Style の Eee PC Seashell 1008HA を正式に発表しました。発売日は発表されていないようですが、ヨーロッパ地域ではプレオーダーも始まっているようなので、まもなくですかね。

CeBIT のときにはカラーはブラックとホワイトの発表はあったんですが、正式にはブラック、ホワイト、ブルー、ピンク、サファイヤブルー、ルビーレッドの6色となっているようです。

ASUS ( ASUSTeK Computer ) が NTTドコモ の FOMA HIGH SPEED 対応のワイヤレス WAN を内蔵した Eee PC 1003HAG を 5月16日 から 69800円 で発売を開始するそうです。

NTTドコモと契約を結ぶかたちになりますが、NTTドコモの FOMA データ回線エリア内なら全国どこででもネットを利用することのできます。

Atom N280 ( 1.66GHz ) 、メモリ1GB、HDD 160GB、1024 × 600 表示 10″液晶ディスプレイ、Windows XP Home Edition などスペックそのものは一般的な NetBook となっています。
